2 Peter 1:3-4 ESV
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.
His power has been given for life and godliness. He has called us to follow. In following Him we become partakers of His divine nature. It is a journey. At the end of that journey we will receive all He has promised.
Walk with me and I'll help you and you help me. Together with Him we will get to the end as more than conquerors.
