2 Corinthians 4:6 ESV
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Scripture begins and ends with God and that light shines in the world. From the beginning to the end, light is the essence of God's story to us. God is light and that light has shone in the darkness in our hearts. We begin to take the shape and image of that eternal life.
"Let there be light" and it was good.
