Yes, I use a hat outdoors most of the time. In the winter because I'd die without it; in the summer because 20 years ago in Tasmania, where that photo was taken, I burned my ears something fierce, working outside in the winter sun, with the sou'wester blowing in from the Antarctic, so I got both frostbite and sunburn on the tops of my ears at the same time. They still hurt if they get cold, so some hat stays on both spring and fall, as well.
Thanks for asking, we're doing OK apart from the aches and pains that go with aging.
