Psalm 23:4 (NIV)
4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
Our life can be seen as the valley, but we are led from the shadow of death to the light of life in Christ. He calls us and leads the way. We find our comfort and rest in the protection of His rod and the direction of His staff. Evil is not to be feared for He is with us.
