30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, 31 so that, just as it is written, “LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD.”
The wisdom of the world flows from the knowledge of good and evil. It rises from the mind and flesh of man who is made of the dust of the earth. The fruit of that tree enables us to see the value and glory of the tree of life, and our need for it.
We are able to free ourselves from the gravity of the world only when we take the hand of the Lord by receiving the Holy Spirit. He brings the fruit of wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption of Christ.
The wise man will boast in the Lord, and rightly so. The light of God can only truly be seen from the darkness of man.
