Genesis 2:7 (NASB Strong's)
Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
Man without the rain of the living waters from heaven is as the dust from the ground until he receives life from above. This is something God is doing with everyone who receives the Holy Spirit.
This act foreshadows the second Adam when the Son of God receives the flesh of man who is made from the dust of the earth. Upon His baptism, the Holy Spirit descended upon Him and remained. He became the first living being since Adam to receive the breath of life from heaven.
