No Rain From Heaven

Genesis 2:5 (NASB Strong's)

Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the LORD God had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground.

Jesus would come to the earth and work in the earth of man to produce the harvest of the Lord.

The rain of heaven refers to the living waters of the Lord, that is, the Holy Spirit who has not been given to the earth. This is also the meaning of the river that would flow from Eden into its garden on the earth. The living waters of heaven will rain upon the earth and will become an ever increasing river that flows from the throne of Christ.
