Isaiah 66:1 ESV
Thus says the Lord:
“Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool;
what is the house that you would build for me,
and what is the place of my rest?
Christ is building the house of the Lord. It cannot be built by the hands of man because it requires the living stones of those who are in the body of Christ. The stones are taken from humanity and refined until suitable for use in His temple.
It is here God will rest when His work is done.
