The Purpose Of His Will - Ephesians 1:3-6

Ephesians 1:3-6 ESV

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

The purpose of God’s will for us is plainly put forth in this passage. His will for mankind is that we would be holy and blameless before Him.

We were all predestined for this end, but few will choose this destiny. That way is narrow and lightly traveled. This He had in mind before the foundation of the world. Jesus was anointed to provide that way before the foundation of the world.

He blesses us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places if we obey His will.
