Some Vessels - 2 Timothy 2:20-21

2 Timothy 2:20-21 ESV

Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, some for honorable use, some for dishonorable. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.

So it would seem that the house of God would have room for dishonorable vessels. This may be expressing the same message as the animals which were carried in Noah’s ark. There were clean and unclean animals aboard which disembarked onto a new earth.

God’s plan for creation is beyond our understanding. He has revealed enough for us that we might join Him with the fullness of His life. His seed is the word, and it produces a harvest according to its kind. There will be seeds and life according to other kinds. All this comes from the one God and Creator of all things.

And it will be very good.
