Acts 1:1-2 ESV
In the first book, O Theophilus, I have dealt with all that Jesus began to do and teach, until the day when he was taken up, after he had given commands through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen."
Acts 1:5
" for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”"
The Holy Spirit brings the truth to man. Jesus was begotten by the Holy Spirit who only spoke the words of the Father. The words came through that same Spirit. He knows the mind of the Father. Through that Spirit Jesus taught the disciples.
The same Spirit comes to every follower of Christ. Jesus went away so the fullness of God could be shared with men. The Spirit remains on the Son because we now become the body of Christ. He dwells in us. In this sense, Jesus came but never left. The light continues to shine in the dark.
Christ will return and not many days from now.
