John 1:9-13
The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
True light. More and more the concept of truth is dismissed. This is a reflection of not knowing God, Who is truth. Receiving God it too believe in His truth and to live in the truth of His light. It is God's will to share His life.
There is one true light, for truth is exclusive. Anything else is false. That is a defining aspect of truth. There is one truth because there is one God. There is one way to the Father, for He said so. Espousing multiple ways is disagreeing with God and pagan in nature. Jesus says He is the door.
I believe Him.
Galatians 4:4-7
But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.
1 John 5:20
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
