Do Not Seal Up -Revelation 22:10-15

Revelation 22:10-15 ESV
10 And he *said to me, “ Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11 Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.”
12 “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

Time continues for now, but it will run out at a day known only by the Father. There are some who are being saved, who have accepted the gift of grace and believe the word of God and the testimony of Christ Jesus. There are many who refuse that word. The patient forbearance of God has gone another day, but this book tells us of a day coming that will be the last day. It will be a day of woe for the rebellious, but a day of joy and eternal life for those who have washed their robes in the blood of Christ and will thus stand in the presence of The Lord.

Isaiah 8:16-18
Bind up this testimony of warning
and seal up God’s instruction among my disciples.
17 I will wait for the Lord,
who is hiding his face from the descendants of Jacob.
I will put my trust in him.
18 Here am I, and the children the Lord has given me. We are signs and symbols in Israel from the Lord Almighty, who dwells on Mount Zion.

The words are no longer bound, or sealed. Revelation has unfolded with the opening of the scroll. We who believe wait for the people of Jacob to call out to God and join us in the body of Christ. The mercy and grace that came through Israel will be returned to Israel. The tree of life will be whole and complete.

Matthew 10:27-28
What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. 28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Darkness gives way to the light. Those that see the light and hear the word are to give witness to that light. Fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom and that light forever shines.

1 John 3:21-24
Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24 The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

John 14:6-7
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
