19 Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God's commands is what counts.

Outward signs or displays of faith are good only if the heart is sincere. The best deeds and words for the Lord are empty if they are not the result of a heart that obeys God. He sees our inner most part. It is the heart He judges and will reward, not the praise of men or our works.
It is the wholehearted love of God and each other that God commands. This is what counts.
