John 13:12 ESV
When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you understand what I have done to you?
Jesus shed His heavenly garments to put on the garments of mankind. He did this to cleanse us from our sins. He bows down before us to wash our feet, as a servant to all. It signifies what He has and is doing for all His disciples. This was done by the one to whom every knee shall bow. The King of Kings and the Lord Of Lords.
How can we understand? How might we comprehend this thing He has done?
The Spirit will bring us into all truth.
