And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”
Man was formed from dust and will return to dust upon death. The good news of Jesus Christ means we don't have to stay in the dust.
Shaking the dust from their feet signifies the town rejects the good news and they remain in realm of the serpent crawling on his belly. It will be a dustbowl of Biblical proportions.
