Luke 4:30 ESV
But passing through their midst, he went away.
This verse points us to larger picture of what is taking place with Jesus and the Jews. They do not recognize the coming of their Messiah. He comes in their midst, but they fail to see Him. He went on His way, but they still await Him.
He was just passing through, on to the rest of mankind.
