Isaiah 26:19 ESV
Your dead shall live; their bodies shall rise.
You who dwell in the dust, awake and sing for joy!
For your dew is a dew of light,
and the earth will give birth to the dead.
Isaiah is speaking directly to Israel, but indirectly to the body of Christ. Though our bodies lie in the earth, they will rise to join our spirits already awakened from the dead.
The rain from heaven, the very light of the word, has given birth to the dead.
