Isaiah 25:7 ESV
And he will swallow up on this mountain
the covering that is cast over all peoples,
the veil that is spread over all nations.
The veil separates mankind from the Holy of Holies, the presence of God. It is torn to admit believers of His word, but remains whole for the rest who reject the one way to access God. This includes Israel to this day.
There is a day coming when at last they will see, hear, and understand.
