Colossians 1:15 ESV
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
A photo is an image of a person,but it is just an image, not the person. More so was Jesus compared to the invisible God. He took on our image to bring to us the life of God.
We connect with the Father through the lens and language of our experience. We receive His word we begin to take on the invisible for ourselves. We become reborn like the firstborn of all creation and transferred into His kingdom.
In the end we will be totally transformed to be like Him, not just in spirit, but in His image in every way.
