2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
The glory of God finds ultimate expression by the word of God. The meaning of amen is affirmation of the thing said and agreement of its truth.
In Revelation Jesus call Himself the Great Amen. That is the yes to God's will and proof that it will be done.
God spoke through Jesus and Jesus spoke the words of God. He fulfills the word of God and brings it to pass. All things are given to Him because all things belong to Him. Jesus is the glory and radiance of God, and manifests that glory to the glory of God.
And all the people said amen!
