Rev 1:13 and in the middle of the lampstands I saw one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and girded across His chest with a golden sash.
The figure is in the middle of the lampstands just as Jesus is at the center of the Church. He is at the center of all things and all things hold together in Him.
He came into our fallen world, taking on the form of man in its corrupted state to enable us to return to that uncorrupted state necessary to bear the presence of God. The seed of Abraham, the Son of the promise fulfilled as prophesied long ago.
Around Him a golden sash befitting His office of priest and king.

Daniel 10:5 I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist
He is clothed in a robe. He will cover us with His righteousness, with pure, white robes without the stain of sin. We will be completely covered.
