Servant

1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God

Here the word servant takes on a whole new meaning.  Jesus redefined that word, just as He redefined what it is to be a man, a new creature in the life of God. In the kingdom of God the term becomes a most honored title.

Jesus was the servant of all: of God and man.  He who would be the greatest would be servant to all.  We are all called and set apart, from the world into the body of Christ.
