The Last Stone

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 NIV
16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.


1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NIV
19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

We have a foretaste of the kingdom of God for the Holy Spirit is present in the heart of every believer. Heaven is often defined as being in God's presence.

In a sense, we are a foreshadow of the New Jerusalem much like the tabernacle in the desert of old was a shadow of heaven.

The temple is being rebuilt. What a day it will be when the last stone is in place!
