Job 19:25-26 ESV
25 For I know that my Redeemer lives,
and at the last he will stand upon the earth.
26 And after my skin has been thus destroyed,
yet in my flesh I shall see God,
The writings in the Old Testament are full of references and symbols of the coming Christ. That was the purpose of that testimony.
God used Israel to prepare the way for His Son and salvation. We encounter the same mystery of life, but we live in the time after Jesus came. We prepare for His return.
Our Redeemer lives!
