Luke 2:11-12 NIV
11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
He came to us in swaddling clothes, a child of promise. He left wrapped in the graves clothes of our sin. He cast aside mortality, exchanging flesh for a heavenly body which knows no death.
He now offers to clothe us in righteousness before God.
