Parables teach us by engaging us. They draw us out of the landscape of the world into the landscape of the spirit, from the landscape of creation into the kingdom of God. The light seeps in and begins to transform the darkness.
God said, "Let there be light".
There was light and life.
Life teaches, isn't that so?
