Genesis 18:32-33 NIV
32 Then he said, "May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?"
He answered, "For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it."
He answered, "For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it."
33 When the LORD had finished speaking with Abraham, he left, and Abraham returned home.
Did God change His mind or was He answering Abraham's questions? Do we assume? Jesus taught us to pray that the Father's will be done on earth and in heaven. It is His will and purpose we seek, for we often know not what we do.
2 Peter 3:9
9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Why did Abraham stop at ten? Why did God stop at nothing to save the world, even sacrificing His own Son?
