Genesis 3:21 (New International Version)
21 The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.
I wonder if this could refer our mortal flesh, these tents as Paul calls these earthly bodies? This clothing of skin matched the fallen state of the world.
The redeemed will be clothed by God as well, with robes of righteousness. Our mortal skin will be replaced by immortal bodies, and we will be like Him, Jesus the Son of God. We will leave behind the skin brought about by disobedience, and inherit new bodies that are a result of the obedience of Christ.
These are the wedding clothes of the bride and the mansions in the house of the Father.
