Longing to Go to Rome
8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed in all the world. 9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I mention you
The faith of the church in Rome is known in all the world because it is real. It expresses the inner reality of the kingdom of heaven that comes from obedience in the faith. It is a changed and changing life.
God is our witness even as we give witness to him. His witness takes place within us as we feel His presence and we see signs of His presence. Our witness of Him begins within and flows to each one around us. We become part of His word in the world
