For Ten Days - Revelation 2:10

Revelation 2:10 ESV
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

The 10 days between Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur are known as the Days of Repentance. Yom Kippur is the day of judgment when God judges the people.

During Rosh HaShanah and the “Ten Days of Repentance,” people can repent of their sins and do good deeds to increase their chances of being inscribed in the book of life.  (Rose Guide To The Tabernacle)

The days of repentance between these two events on the Jewish calendar may shed light on this reference of "ten days" here in Revelation. This is a time of reflection on the commandments of God. Jesus may be telling the church at Smyrna to remain in a state of repentance, to persevere in the truth of the Gospel and remain faithful to the end.
