Romans 6:3-4
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
Though dead, we are brought into new life and become part of the body of Christ. Our baptism speaks to our own death of self, just as Jesus gave His own life so that we could live. He shares His glory with us, the glory from and of the Father. In that glory we glorify God.
Everyone experiences death. The blossom of our natural body will fade and drop to the ground. God has given us the gift of choosing life before we leave this earth, and we begin as a new creatures even as we remain in the old body.
Like Jesus, we are born from above and share with Him as sons of the Father. There is a place for all who would come. This newness of life is the glory of the Father.
1 Corinthians 12:13
For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body— Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
