If we limit our understanding to mere reason, and our view of existence to the crude instruments of our own hands and minds, we ignore the greater part of creation. We are like ants in an anthill, unable to comprehend or suspect the earth in which they dig. It is that very part of creation at the hand of God that makes the mound possible.
Comfortable in the dirt and oblivious to their ignorance, they take pride in their own accomplishments.
