Your Heritage - Psalms 2:7-9

Psalms 2:7-9 ESV

I will tell of the decree:
The Lord said to me, “You are my Son;
today I have begotten you.

Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,
and the ends of the earth your possession.

You shall break them with a rod of iron
and dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.”

This season we celebrate the birth of a child Who becomes the Savior of the world. This is God's own Son, the unique and first joining together of the Divine and humanity. He takes our humanity into the heavenly realm and leaves behind His Divinity in the earthly realm: the Holy Spirit in the heart of man. The nations and the earth become His inheritance. He becomes ours.

"Blessed are all who take refuge in Him."
