The Ransomed Of The Lord

Isaiah 35:10 (ESV)

And the ransomed of the LORD shall return

and come to Zion with singing;

everlasting joy shall be upon their heads;

they shall obtain gladness and joy,

and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Zion is the promised land for the Lord’s people of the earth. One day the Lord will fully restore Israel to its inheritance with everlasting gladness and joy which is the peace of the Lord. 

The bride of Christ will accompany Christ when He returns and assumes His throne on earth. They have received the promises of the Son and will join Him on His throne. 

In this way Christ brings to pass the union of heaven and earth. His kingdom is no longer just His kingdom of heaven, but the kingdom of all creation. The word is fulfilled as intended with the fullness of God.
