James 1:13 (New International Version) 13When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;
Seek God's desire and find your own. Seek your own and you will find neither.
Temptation takes place within the heart. That is the battlefield of the struggle. The Lord says we are more than conquerors when we place our trust in Him, because He overcame the world.
It does not appear from this verse that we are tempted by good things. We are told all good things are from the hand of the Lord. Something held out by any other should make us very nervous.
