The Old Path

Job 22:15 (New International Version)

15 Will you keep to the old path
       that evil men have trod?

There is more than one path, but only one that leads to God.

There is indeed more than one path, and it is in our human nature to venture down many of the old paths sometimes following the old paths over and over...on our journey to stay on the one true path that is always fixed. Our family is yet seeking a new path, and we asked your prayers for us as we do this. Sometimes the light dims in places we are and we feel compelled to seek the light out in new places that Christ leads us to. Never should you stay in what seems the darkness if the light calls out to you to go elsewhere. Do not follow the ways of man seek out Christ always. The light and darkness cannot exist in the same place of this I am sure.

I agree. Each person's journey is different and there is more than one path in that sense. What I meant and believe is there is one true path to the Father as you said.
There are different places along the way, just as we find ourselves in different places on earth. Our walk with Him does not end. Christ calls us ever closer to Him, but how we get there is not always clear at a particular moment, but His light is before us and with us.
My prayer is that your family finds peace, even in the midst of perhaps not knowing the next step, though the destination is clear. We have the same struggle, and I would guess most do at one time or another. Like you I have faith in his promises and His presence.
Bless you and your family.
