1 Corinthians 15:22-24 ESV
" For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power."
Through one man's disobedience all men die. Through one man's obedience all may live. With death we have no choice. Life comes through choice, our choice between two "trees" just as Adam. We can remain in death or pick the fruit from the tree of life. It does not fall into our hand. One must reach out and take the fruit offered. It must be eaten. Merely picking the fruit is not enough.
