And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
Luke 23:43
And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
Just Adam died the moment he ate the forbidden fruit, so we live the moment we eat from the bread of life. What we choose can have everlasting implications which we don't see until later. It is in looking back we come to more fully understand.
Spirit reality is not readily apparent to mortal eyes. The heart is usually home to this vision of discernment and experience of this reality. We become new creatures in Christ the moment we accept Him. At that moment we begin to walk in the kingdom of God, which leads to everlasting life.
