Exodus 20:21
21 The people stood far off, while Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.
There is quite a difference between Moses and Jesus. When Moses drew near to God, he approached a thick darkness. The people were afraid.
When God drew near to the darkness of man, He entered in the form of a child, the Son of Man. A great light was given. The angel said, "Fear not"!
Many still stand far off.
