Denying that Jesus is the only way to God is denying what He said. Denying what He said is denying Jesus. He said He only spoke the words of God, if true, then denying what Jesus said denies God.
Apostle John said Jesus was the Word of God, and begins His Gospel with that assertion. If we do not begin there we end up nowhere.
