Philippians 2:12-13 (NASB)
12 So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.
Working out our salvation is a sign that He is working in us. When He becomes our desire, we are steadfast in our walk with Him. It is pleasurable for God and man.
The fruit of the Holy Spirit is the ongoing transformation of our minds as we draw closer to the nature of Jesus, which is His will for our lives.
