Matthew 18:19-20 NASB
“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”
The key to understanding this passage is the presence of Jesus. He is in their midst and lives. Where the body of Christ gathers, He is present.
As we gather in the one Spirit we are guided by the one mind of Jesus. There we become one in our plurality. We agree in His name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. His will shall be done.
