Declare


Psalms 19:1-2 ESV
1 The heavens declare the glory of God, 

and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. 

2 Day to day pours out speech, 

and night to night reveals knowledge. 

The word translated as declare embodies the idea of an epiphany and celebration. Imagine the angels in the sky above the shepherds when Jesus was born singing Glory to God in the Highest!   

H5608 ספר * sâphar * saw-far' * A primitive root; properly to score with a mark as a tally or record, that is, (by implication) to inscribe, and also to enumerate; intensively to recount, that is, celebrate: - commune, (ac-) count, declare, number, + penknife, reckon, scribe, shew forth, speak, talk, tell (out), writer.
