Truly Blessed

Psalms 119:1-3 ESV
1 Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord! 2 Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, 3 who also do no wrong,
but walk in his ways!

We are blameless when we are washed in the truth, baptized with His word, and are given the power of the Holy Spirit. He has done this thing.

Jesus would come saying that He is the way. His grace is given to all that seek Him. His mercy extends to all that will walk with Him and their sins are remembered no more. Truly we are blessed.

The Cornerstone Remains

Psalms 118:22 ESV
22 The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone.

The rock rejected by the builders, those who trusted in their own hands, becomes the salvation of the Lord. The rejection continues today. The cornerstone remains.

The Desire

Psalms 145:16 ESV  You open your hand;
you satisfy the desire of every living thing.
We must choose wisely because we will reap what we sow.
God may harden a heart, but a man chooses the shape, according to his desire.

At The Center Of The Earth

Ezekiel 38:10-12  ESV
10 “Thus says the Lord God: On that day, thoughts will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil scheme 11 and say, ‘I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will fall upon the quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates,’ 12 to seize spoil and carry off plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and the people who were gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell at the center of the earth.

This is where world interest and conflict is focused, Jerusalem where the Bible says God will dwell. The pattern of conflict between Cain and Able continues to play out in actions taking place today. Cain didn't listen to God then and his seed does not now.

Out Of The Storm

Job 38:1 (New International Version)  1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the storm. He said:

So many times we are only able to listen to the Lord when there is a storm, when we realize or are reminded of how fragile we are, of how feeble are our efforts and plans.
The Lord has the final word, but you have to ask.

Who Made Me A Judge?

Luke 12:13 ESV Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me. ” 14 But he said to him, “Man, who made me a judge or arbitrator over you? ”
Isn't it ironic that Jesus responds with this question. He is given all authority by the Father. The man had no idea how close he had come to the King of Kings.

He came to make us all heirs of His Father's house. The good news is that it is not a division problem, but a multiplication process, for of His increase there will be no end. Our cup will overflow.

Who Are A Sign

Zechariah 3:3-10 EVS
3 Now Joshua was standing before the angel, clothed with filthy garments. 4 And the angel said to those who were standing before him, “Remove the filthy garments from him. ” And to him he said, “Behold, I have taken your iniquity away from you, and I will clothe you with pure vestments. ” 5 And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head. ” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord was standing by.

6 And the angel of the Lord solemnly assured Joshua, 7 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: If you will walk in my ways and keep my charge, then you shall rule my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you the right of access among those who are standing here. 8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you and your friends who sit before you, for they are men who are a sign: behold, I will bring my servant the Branch. 9 For behold, on the stone that I have set before Joshua, on a single stone with seven eyes, I will engrave its inscription, declares the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of this land in a single day. 10 In that day, declares the Lord of hosts, every one of you will invite his neighbor to come under his vine and under his fig tree. ”

The angel takes away the filthy garments. Who can remove our iniquities but Jesus?
Who is the Branch other than the root of Jesse?
What is the stone with seven eyes other than the stone that causes men to stumble, that is filled with the Spirit of God?
His Word is written on our hearts, not on tablets of stone.
A man's vine will be the Lord and his fruit will prosper.  They are a sign, and so are we.
